1. How do I prepare the Mower Deck?

Clean off all loose resideand rust flakes. Prepare surface as you would to be painted. New decks with painted surface sould be lightly sanded.

2. How do I apply?

Can be brushed or sprayed. If this is the first time applying CleanDeck, then the first coat needs to dry for 24 hours to bond to the metal. The second and third coats need 2hours dry time.

3. Can I use the Aerosal for the base coat?

Yes, still allow 24 hours for base coat to bond.

4. Do I need to touch-up?

If the mower is used daily, inspect when cleaning the deck. If the surface under the cutting section is chipped or worn touch-up with aerosol.

5. How much CleanDeck do I need?

1 Gallon covers 200 sq ft

1 Quart covers 50 sq ft approx., enough to fully coat a 60" dia., deck.

1 Aerosol covers 20 sq ft approx., enough to fully coat a 24" dia., deck.

6. How do I clean a coated deck after use?

Hose down to remove any residue.

7. How do I clean my brush or sprayer?

Clean with soapy water

8. Can I dilute CleanDeak for easier spraying?

Yes, with water, but is not recommened.

9. Can CleanDeck be use on other appliances?

Yes, CleanDeck is A Dry, Slippery lubricant which is not damaged by the sun, rain, or ice and does not collect dust.

10. How do you ship?
